How is SSM written UDO media read by a desktop UDO drive not managed by AA?

Can my stand-alone UDO drive read UDO media written by an Archive Appliance?

Yes (Linux) - Plasmon's Linux driver supports SSMDF and allows a stand-alone drive to read media created by an Archive Appliance.

This level of support is not yet available for the Windows driver but is planned for a future release.
