How does the AA appear to an application?

 

The AA provides a network interface to application, similar to RAID based network attached storage systems (NAS).  Various network interfaces are supported, including CIFS, NFS and FTP.  Via CIFS, the AA appears as one or more Windows shares.  Via NFS, the AA appears as one or more mount points.
